Stake $DUEL. Fight. Take the pot.
One-on-one melee in The Sands, the way stake duels used to feel: 0.6 second ticks, red and blue splats, a max hit that ends it. Two fighters put up equal stakes and only one walks out with the pile.
How a duel works
Four screens, two accepts each, one fight. Exactly the ritual you remember, with the maths in the open.
- Challenge1
Take an open challenge or post your own: pick a mode, food, specials and a stake.
- Stake2
Both stakes go into escrow. The house commits to a hidden seed hash before anyone swings.
- Fight3
Tick-based melee every 0.6s. Eat, switch, spec, or forfeit. Every input is logged.
- Get paid4
Winner takes the pot minus a 2.5% fee. The seed is revealed; replay it yourself.
Six ways to lose your stack
Every fighter is 99 across the board with no armour. The weapon and the rules are the whole game.
Fists only. Pure heart.
The classic. Lash vs lash, no food.
Venom dagger only. Specs on.
Lash in hand, dagger in the bag. Time your switch.
Fast and fair. Scimmies only.
Slow swings. Huge hits. Sunder decides it.
Provably fair, not "trust us"
Before the first tick the house publishes sha256(serverSeed). You bring your own client seed. The fight's randomness is derived from sha256(server:yourSeed:theirSeed:nonce) and fed to a xoshiro128** stream, so neither player nor the house can steer a single roll.
After settlement the server seed is revealed. Together with the input log (every eat, switch, spec and forfeit, with its tick) anyone can replay the whole duel and get the same HP numbers, tick for tick.

$DUEL launches on pump.fun with its pool paired to GP. The stake, the pot and the fee are all denominated in $DUEL. One $DUEL shows as one coin in the interface, with the classic colour breaks: yellow, white at 100K, green at 10M.
